Graduated from the School of Mathematics at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Tango a native Shanghainese himself, pursued his dream of drawing by completing a major in design at the Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University. After graduation, he entered the prosperous advertising industry at the end of the 90s when almost every advertiser was fairly enthusiastic and eloquent, assuming to himself the heavy responsibility to raise brands served. Tango is totally the opposite. He is always deliberate and presents his freehand stories in a soft voice, which are lively and intuitive and more than all beautiful words. These years, he started to enjoy the achievement of drawing during his spare time at work.

Tango’s doodle has a simple, fluent and funny style. His humor is obvious without words and thinking. Everything he draws has its own expression. Even air has a shape and a piece of bread can be a protagonist. We shall find the joy and surprise in our daily life. No matter how small we are and how frustrating life is, we shall endeavor to feel “alive”.
