Born in the Republic of Lithuania, 1949, currently based in Warsaw, Poland since 1980. He has had solo exhibitions in Chicago and Los Angeles in 1986, a retrospective at
the Wroclaw Art Museum in 1988, and a retrospective at the Vilnius Modern Art Center in 1993. He has held solo exhibitions all over the world. In 2019, he was awarded
the Commandeur’s Cross, which is presented to individuals who have contributed to the prosperity of the Republic of Poland. He is active in many fields, including
painting, printmaking, illustration, sculpture, photography, and installation.
