Born in 1987 in Hiroshima, completed a master’s degree in fine arts at Texas Christian University. Inspired by prehistoric and ethnic arts, as well as anthropological theories, the artist creates works exploring the relationship between agriculture and art using materials from the surroundings. Recent exhibitions include “GO FOR KOGEI – Material Imagination and Etiological Narrative – Material, Data, Fantasy (Kansui Park, Toyama, 2023) and “Romantic Route3” (Taiwan, 2023). Awarded the Hiroshima Culture Newcomer Award (2022) and Rokko Meets Art Open Call Award (2017). Works are held in collections at KAMU KANAZAWA (Ishikawa) and Chishima Foundation for Creative Osaka (Osaka).
