Born in 1977. Started exploring the world since he was a teenager and received a grand prize of Epson Color Imaging Contest in 1999 for “Worldwidewonderful” which he took as he crossed over Africa and Asia. He also received Visual Arts Photo Award and New Photographer Award of Japan Photographer Associationi in 2002 for “Worldwidewarp” – digital topography generated from his go-around the world in clockwise and unti-clockwise twice per each direction. The exhibition and photobook of “Pipelne Alaska” in which he followed the pipelnes in Alaska in 2006 became him known. Received a grant fro Cultural Agency to study abroad in 2011. His approach to capture specific objects across the globe such as piplelines, Glacier, Goldrush reveals unique impression of topycal issue as if these photographes are bridging a gap between art and documentary.
