Born in Mexico in 1967, lives and works there. Ortega is known for his witty and humorous works that deconstruct familiar objects and processes, altering their functions
and transforming them into novel experiences and scenarios. While inverting, dissecting, reconstructing, and enlarging all kinds of objects, he pursues the tension of the
infinite world inside them, revealing the interdependence of the diverse elements that make up complex machines and societies.
