This is a special tour that includes the opening event of Hong Kong House, which will host a new exhibition this summer and Fram Kitagawa, General Director of the Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale, will lead.
In addition to the Kiyotsu Gorge Tunnel and Echigo-Tsumari Satoyama Museum of Contemporary Art, MonET, visitors will also enjoy a performance-style lunch at Kamigo Clove Theatre Restaurant.

The tour starts with the Kiyotsu Gorge Tunnel, which has been popular since its opening to the public. The Kiyotsu Gorge is one of the three most beautiful gorges in Japan, created by 16 million years of earth history. Visitors can view the fusion of the beauty of the gorge and art in the 750-meter-long tunnel. The spectacular natural scenery, which changes with the seasons, is also a must-see.

Echigo-Tsumari “Kamigo Clove Theatre”
Renovated from a closed junior high school, Kamigo Clove Theatre is a performing arts center for the Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale. A popular work at last year's Art Festival, "Farming implements as instruments!” was relocated and upgraded.

Lunch is served at the Kamigo Clove Theatre's performance-style restaurant. Local mothers perform their skills and cheerfully and joyfully present a theatrical feast that will make you realize the deliciousness of the ingredients grown in the area.
”A Double Listen : Yama no Oto” Opening Performance
Opening performance of the exhibition "A Double Listen : Yama no Oto", at Hong Kong House, which will be performed at the theatre of the Kamigo Clove Theater. The Hong Kong art group Toolbox Percussion will present three programs composed for Echigo-Tsumari. Collaboration with local residents and Hong Kong students is also planned.
Hong Kong House
Hong Kong House is a residency and gallery facility that serves as a base for cultural exchange with Hong Kong. The exhibition "A Double Listen : Yama no Oto" is a series of sound art installations in which sound-emitting objects create a playful and meditative sound experience. A soft launch event will also be held.

This work was installed based on the picture book "Shiawase no Kippu Kiss & Goodbye" set on the JR Iiyama Line. As the train moves forward, the message of the picture book, which gives us the courage to open up our lives, is conveyed through pictures, video, and music.
